Icon1 As a Freelancer what are the basic things to be adopted?

Freelance work is really a bit competitive these days. There are some points which I think should to be discussed.

1. Time Management
2. Meet deadlines
3. Be an expert
4. Report clients on his/her work weekly, if possible daily.
5. Self promotion on web

What you guys think, what should be discussed more on this?

Icon3 Freelancing is not easy!

Absolutely, there is no doubt about the points you have mentioned. Additinoally, before diving into freelancing, one should analyze it's pro's and con's. Because freelancing is not so easy as one may think. It's much harder than a full-time job!

We need to depend on client reports only, whether it is monthly or weekly. If we are competent enough then we need not bother about it too much. Just go ahead with full confidence. The rest of the things are taken care of.
